How to make a great Onion soup

It will come soon in english... Sorry for being partly hungarian at the moment. :((

This soup is not like a cream soup, but it is a delcious and very tasty Onion soup. So I prefer to all.


  • 50dkg onion
  • 5dkg butter
  • 1dl dry white wine
  • 1l vegetable soup (even made of stock-cube)
  • thyme
  • parsley
  • bay leaf
  • 1 bagett (or dry soup inset)
  • 10dkg filings cheese
  • 3 sp oil
  • fine pepper
  • vegeta (meal flavour)

How to make:
The onion is cutted into thin slices. With continuous stiring - on small flame - we parch the onion in oil in a frying pan, until it became glassy.

A hagymát vékony karikákra szeleteljük. Serpenyőben vajban, olajban - kislángon - állandóan kevergetve üvegesre fonnyasztjuk. Ráöntjük a bort és közepes lángon - gyakran kevergetve - pároljuk, amíg a hagyma a bort magába szívja. Ráöntjük a zöldségleves felét, felforraljuk és közepes lángon 10 percig pároljuk. Beletesszük a fűszereket - sózzuk, borsozzuk - , felöntjük a maradék levessel és kislángon 30-40 percig tovább főzzük. A bagettet kockára vágjuk, aranybarnára pirítjuk és a levesbe szórjuk. Megszórjuk sajttal 15 percre forró sütőben a sajtot megolvasztjuk.
